Makeup for family or personal photoshoots require a bit more makeup and coverage than one might think looks “natural” on camera. Light bouncing off of makeup changes the way you look, and makes a less dramatic impression. The makeup products used should be mostly matte to avoid adding any shine to the face. The possible exception is for women’s lip color, as a bit of gloss in the center of the lips can make them look fuller.
